Differences in the family tree Challenge

I think it's pretty obvious, but I like challenges. I currently have four on going right now, and I pretty much play all of them regularly. Except the family man challenge, truthfully. But that's still three challenges to play! I found this one tonight. And although I don't think I'll find myself doing it, I like the different scenarios its gives you. But it's a little too structured for my liken. With that being said, I'll probably try it one day. Or incorporate some of it into a random legacy. Nothing is Free Update

I've been terrible at writing a story for these guys. I really just play. Which is nice, but I miss the writing. I have a story that plays in my head.  It's just the whole writing it down thing. So lets recap!

In the end generation one had two families, the Woodgate's and the Tanti's

The Woodgate's are my main family they wound up having three children. The oldest and heir is Graham and one set of twins Aaron and Lauren.

The Tanti's had a daughter who married Aaron. Abigail and Aaron have had three kids so far.

Lauren married some kid from high school, and they had two kids. She promptly went into labor with her first after this was taken.

Graham is married to his imaginary friend, Patches, they have three kids so far and she pregnant with another.  They also have a live in simbot (which MAY be cheating) and the oldest kids imaginary friend.  I'm trying to find out if imaginary friends can pass their gene's on.  So I may be incorporating the perfect genes into this. 

I have four houses in game (other than mine). Two houses have family and two houses FINALLY got townies.  After I fixed story progression to allow them to move in!

I have 11 business : Junk Yard, Grave Yard, Bistro, Library, School, Bookstore, Grocery Store, Salon, City hall, Police department, and spa

 This generation I want: Equestrian Center, Big Park, and the Hospital. Big Park might change to Science lab depending on funds.

One challenge at a time isn't enough!

So while working on my Family man challenge, I stumbled across the "Nothing is Free" challenge.  And it captivated me. Modthesims is terrible for my health.  So family man is on hold, mostly due to baby mama drama, while I play a bit with my Woodgate family. 

Three weeks (sim time) and three power outtages (my power) later, I have a family of six.  I have high aspirations for this family.  It has four adults. I'm not sure if that was allowed, but I'm not looking through 26 pages of posts. It's not like I've ever played by the rules 100% anyways.  Not to mention a house with two families is pretty difficult to manage. Especially now that I have started having kids.  I'll move Grady and Alma out eventually.  

Generation One aspires to have a library (Erica), diner (Clark), junkyard (Alma- hey I had to get a male somehow), and school (Grady). I'm feeling a bit ambitious with a school, so that may change.

I have no idea what to do with their kids. So far I have Graham (Clark and Erica) and Abigail (Grady and Alma).

I think Abigail is going to start painting.
Graham might be my fall back school person.

Getting it Together

 
I decided I needed a place to link everything and talk about my current projects. And maybe I just wanted to have my own space of the internet, and the only thing I could think to do with it involved Sims. Maybe it will be possible to sleep at night with my thoughts somewhere in print. 

I'm always looking for ways to make my gaming experience more complex.  It's about time I compiled all that information in one place.  Plus it's easier to say, "Hey there's a link on my blog go look," than "Yeah I have it bookedmarked, I'll email it to you," only to find out I apparently unbookmarked it.  Possibly this is an organization attempt.

I also have tons of media I would love to share with my family. Admit it, sims do some pretty funny things when left to their own devices.  What better place than a blog!

Week Three

Week three started with a grid lock. With two women mad at him and all his "regulars" pregnant, Cecil was bored. He wanted to much to go outside and network, but it seemed every time he stepped foot outside someone was accusing him of cheating. Each time he told them the same story. "I only have you and our insert number of kids here kids. I love you." It was working less and less recently.

Cecil was on again with Elvira.

Sometimes he couldn't remember the things they did. Deep down he felt like she was using him like he was using her. Oh well, in the end he didn't have the screaming twins plus one.

Cecil was happy to know that Elisabeth had grown into a beautiful young woman. He was quite surprised to see her at the Brightmore late one night.

Just when Cecil thought all this cheating stuff was behind him, Caroline busted his chops.

Yeah awkward.

Then Katelynn.

So Cecil thought it was time to start breaking hearts. Only to patch things up again

After enduring a week of feisty, pissed women, Cecil found the cure to his problems. The Clean Slate reward. As much fun as it was getting drinks tossed at him and yelled at, upset baby momma's were hindering his plan to over populate Bridgeport.

In the mean time, Elspeth birthed twins Cyrus and Denise.

Week Two

Cecil started off week two with Jun Xu.

It didn't take much persuading to get her home. Although he suspected that.

It also didn't take much persuading to get her into the hot tub.

After running into Caroline at the park, Cecil was notified he would soon have a second son, Igor.

Cecil's isn't completely heartless, he goes to visit his kids occasionally. Pretty sure the one in the oven is his also.


Tiara and Apollo broke up. She came to share the news with Cecil. Bad idea. Deep down Cecil wonders if it has anything to do with their illegitimate daughter.

While waiting for Renee to come over, Cecil does mundane house chores.

Renee shows up with Thad. Cecil is pleased to finally me his son. Of course they use this time to work on number two.

After spending some time with Thad and making Renee suffer to *harmless* kids music. Cecil sends them on their way. He wants to meet with one more person before Tiara's party.


Mid week, Tiara accused him of cheating. Of course Caroline would be there too. Revengeful baby momma's always have ways to mess things up.



Cecil tried to make it up to her, in his underware, but he found out she was already pregnant. He was pretty sure it was his.

It didn't work.


Cecil found himself in a bar. At least he found time to put on clothes. It was a bit cliche to spill your sorrows to the bar tender, but he didn't want to go home.

At least till Renee found him. Yeah that one was his too.

Then she accused him. Funny how she didn't even stop to think that she was married. This wasn't the time to bring that fact up. Cecil wanted out of this bar alive.


So much for alive because while he was trying to patch things up with Renee, Katelynn and Caroline stop by the bar. Katelynn brought her husband. All Cecil could think was, "Really guys, this place is ALWAYS empty..."



And Cecil did the only thing he thought he could. He ran and he didn't stop until he was safe at home.


Half way home he was sidetracked by Marina. Marina had found out too. It was rough to be Cecil!


Cecil thought he would try one more time to make this day better. He went dancing at another unpopular club. Here he met his friend Lilly-Bo and they danced the night away. In more ways than one. At least he made it home without wrecking any more lives.



Just when Cecil thought he was out of the woods, Elvira accused him of cheating too.

Apparently someone somewhere was talking and magically, Cecil was a Dirtbag. :(



Jun came over for a whoopee. However Cecil had forgotten she was already whoopeed out. Jun quickly went into labor in his lobby. I personally think she planned it, but Cecil was excited. This was his first child he was present for. Turns out it was triplets!



After a few days of laying low, Cecil decided it was time to invite Renee over for some postbaby baby making. However, she apparently didn't forget. Yeah he knew where this was going.



All that convincing for nothing. He wasn't getting any tonight.
